April 2009 Customer Success Story Contest: Video Submission. This startling video was captured by a customer who purchased a security camera system after an item was stolen from their building. The attached video was taken with a Logitech wilife Outdoor camera mounted on the front of the building. The video depicts the suspect hiding behind a tree until a woman rides by on her bicycle. He proceeds to blind her with a flashlight enough to startle her. He attacks her, wrestling away her bicycle and purse. Notice that her shoe has come off in the event and that she goes to the neighbor’s door and rings for help, but nobody opens the door for her. So she recovers her lost shoe and walks away. This event happened in the most exclusive neighborhood in Philadelphia: Rittenhouse Square. The customer sent all of his captured video segments to the police as evidence. He was informed by the police that they apprehended the criminal shortly after the incident because he was seen riding the woman’s bike and carrying a purse.
