Bloomsburg- A man ran from police after an altercation allegedly between a group of New Jersey police and BU students. The altercation happened close to 2 AM. According to a witness during the altercation one of the New Jersey men flashed a badge and said he was a cop. After police arrived a man from New Jersey involved in the altercation tried to walk away from the scene. Police ordered the man to stop but he ran. Police caught up to the man and at the time he claimed to be a New Jersey State Trooper but was it was later proved to be false during a police interrogation. The chase was caught on surveillance camera in the rear of Jo-Jo’s Pizza and also on the video by BloomUtoday.com cameraman David Lynn. Police are still investigating the incident and charges have not been filed as of today. BloomUtoday.com
