I just couldn’t get the product to work, even after I replaced the DVR I use to make sure it’s a model that is tested by WD and paid for a replacement delivery of a new HD from WD. DON’T BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Amazon listed this item as “In Stock” when I ordered it, and then tells me it won’t ship for more than a week.

This is a great addition to the TIVO. It provides more storage than I probably will ever need… as of now. The only issue I have with it, is there isn’t an interface. It’s difficult to know what shows have been allocated to the expansanion… how much space is left. It just sits there. If it did breakdown I wouldn’t know it right away. There’s NO interface! TIVO definitely is not Microsoft and by GOD not Mac.

This compact, sleek external hard drive stands on its end like a book, and so takes up very little space. I had no trouble hooking it up to my TIVO and it is serving its purpose–expanding my HD-TIVO’s memory.
